100% Riesling
Single Vineyard
Light Pass, Barossa Valley
Vineyard
Our vineyard situated at Light Pass in the Northeast Barossa Valley, has an elevation just shy of 300m. Eden Valley, only a couple of km`s away to our East is where the North Para River rises and flows out of the hills through our vineyard, bringing cooling gully breezes during the summer months - perfect for growing fine, delicate, zesty `Rizza`!
Vintage
The 2026 vintage in the Barossa Valley delivered wines of excellent balance, purity and regional character. A mild growing season with steady winter rainfall and moderate summer temperatures allowed for even ripening and strong vine health. Yields were generally average to slightly below average, producing concentrated fruit with impressive flavour intensity.
Winemaking
Picked early in the season to retain natural acidity and delicacy. Promptly pressed, taking free run juice only. Bright clarified juice is fermented cool before stabilization, and into bottle.
Tasting Notes
In the glass the wine shows a bright pale straw colour with green hues. Aromatically the wine opens with delicately lifted florals, lemon zest and some Granny Smith crunch. A pure line of citrus lingers, its finely textured, crisp, and refreshing on the palate. A wine to enjoy now or over the next few years.
